[Announcement] Electricity and Magnetism Practice Launch

We're happy to announce that we've launched a new practice section on Brilliant today: Electricity & Magnetism Practice.

So, if you're interested in circuits, charges, voltage, resistance, and all things electro-magnetic, head over and check it out.

You'll also notice that many of the wiki pages for this new section have not yet been written. Feel free to pitch in and contribute a write up for the community if you're already familiar with E&M.

Are the following 2 statements true or false?

(a) Two particles with the same charge will repel or drive away from each other.
(b) Two particles with opposite charges will be attracted to each other.

  Easy Math Editor

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

yes above statements are true

a)Is true b)Is true It follows the law of ''Static electricity''.It Is also similar to law of magnetism which state that ''Like pole of magnets repel nd unlike pole of magnet attract.''
