Sometimes I look at a problem, then work it out on paper. When I get the answer and want to enter it in, it just says 'Nice try: the answer is ...' and saying that I did not solve the problem, without me even entering any answer. Does anyone else have this problem?

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

Wait. I'll tag the staff here @Calvin Lin @Peter Taylor
Thanks. We will take a look into this.
It's not an issue that we have come across thus far. Can you provide us with more details?
For example, does this happen only with MCQ (where touching the option would trigger it as your answer)?
Does this happen on desktop, mobile, or both?

@Jeff Kile @Calvin Lin It happened again for the problems 'Unusual inscribed circle 1' and 'Am I going blank', which are not MCQ.
I use the brilliant app and sometimes I use my phone's calculator. However when I come back the solutions have been revealed. (which is not nice especially if I spent some time on a level 5 problem and end up not being able to answer it)
no ._.
Yeah, it happens sometimes with me too...It's very annoying.

Can you provide more details about when this happens? What are some problems that it occurred for you on? When it next occurs, can you let me know which problems they are?

It happens for both MCQ type and value inserting type questions. With me , it has happened only on mobile, not on laptop till now. There are about 4 to 6 times , it has happened with me.

To check, has this been a recent issue (say within the past 2 weeks)? Or have you noticed it happening in August?

@Joel Tan or @Sandeep Bhardwaj could you post a link or the name of the problem you had this issue on? Also if you could post roughly when you saw this happening that would be helpful as well. Thanks!
