photo from my homemade telescope, the color is caused by the spectrum from the star to the CCD camera that's dominant to capture infrared spectrum, digital zooming 100X. My hypotenuse the object is a galaxy, its cause the differential spectrum from the horizontal X but not with the vertical line Y it means that the part of -X (blue, green<) of the object (lets say that the center is between green and yellow X=0) have more wavelength than X+ (yellow, red>) proving it had a different distance from left to right or horizontal length (X), is my hypotenuse correct? if its not, please explain theoretically without a non sense variable opinion.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.
