When it comes to sherlock holmes we all are fascinated by his brain and we are under the impression that it takes only an incredible mind to remember things the way he does. I am here to tell you that you have been misled. He uses a memory technique called MEMORY PALACE. This technique was actually developed by the Romans and the Greek. Many people use this technique to memorize a string of hundreds of letter or alphabets. But you can put this technique to a much wider field. You can now learn concepts and memorize the logic of algorithms without having to forget them after a few months. All it takes is your imagination and a little bit of reading :P Google "MEMORY PALACE" or check out the link. http://www.wikihow.com/Build-a-Memory-Palace
