Brilliant premium

My premium subscription just ended and to buy a new year of subscription I need to pay ₹6000, but when I had checked last week(I have no screenshots to prove the same) I could gift someone else a subscription for just ₹4000, so in that case I could have just bought myself a new subscription by gifting myself, but I had not done it because I didn’t expect a sudden raise in price for a new year of subscription after the subscription ended.

I would like to know if this some glitch I have encountered as this doesn’t make sense

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

Also when I had first subscribed four years ago the price was ₹4000 and a 20% discount had popped up so I had only paid ₹3200, a year ago when I renewed the subscription it was ₹4000 again with a sudden 20% discount appearing again which I had taken, so I expected it to be 4000 again, maybe with the discount or not which didn’t matter, 6000 caught me by surprise, especially because I could gift a premium subscription at 4000 just a week ago

If the price has been raised I totally understand, just want to know why it could not be notified that the price will increase once my subscription ends

@David Stiff I did by mistake after I was checking for the reason of the increased price, it dropped down to 4800 from 6000

@David Stiff For two days
