Hi!
There have been a number of contests on Brilliant on a wide variety of disciplines including Calculus, Inequalities, Mechanics, etc. These contests inspired me to hold an interesting marathon, namely, the Brilliant Proof Marathon.
Unlike regular problems posed on Brilliant, which usually require only answers, we also need to practice proof problems, and make our proofs short and elegant.
I shall be posting a proof problem or two every week. The one who posts the maximum number of shortest and most elegant proofs shall win.
This marathon would commence on 9th of June.Stay tuned and have fun.
Honors: Three best proofs of a given problem will be awarded with status of Nice one , Excellent and From the Book.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

I am very excited...! :D
Great initiative! What all topics will you be asking?
Topics can range from inequalities, theory of equations, geometry, combinatorial analysis, etc.
There's even a chance for the competitors to pose problems. If you want your problems to featured in the contest, feel free to post them here. Follow the given guidelines:
Refrain to pose problems which are seemingly easy and generally follow a short path.
Do pose problems which are likely to have a tedious approach by most of us.
If your problem is liked, it shall be selected for the Brilliant Proof Marathon.
If none of us have a solution for the problem, the problem poser shall post the solution in 15 days of posing the problem.
Most importantly, you should have the solution to the problems you pose in the marathon.
Pose your problems in this note, without solution.

@Harsh Shrivastava and @Nihar Mahajan, Feel free to enrich the contest with your inequality and geometry problems.
I am interested in Brilliant Proof Marathon, thanks.

Thanks for showing interest. I am indebted.
Sorry guys, I'm am leaving brilliant for a while. I'm shifting this marathon to 8th of July. I shall get active on July, when my RMO preparation comes to an end.
