Hi guys,i think that Brilliant is no more 'brilliant' like before....the old format was much better.....but still if brilliant cannot be back with old format then some edits should be made in the present format as follows...
1.There should Not be more than 10 problems per topic for a week. At least two problems in every topic should be written by the challenge masters
2.There should be a separate leaderboard for every topic showing the top 50 scores
3.Top 3 scores at the end of every Month should be awarded with some prizes like brilliant lanyard and T-Shirts.
4.Solutions to the questions shall be displayed d next week only.
5.Brilliant should organize a competition after every 3 months(if they want)
Users may also give there opinion......

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

I dont agree with you Brilliant is a forum for mathematics lovers and those who like problem solving and u say that brilliant staff should limit the questions per week, WHY?!!! also organizing competitions and prize distribution is against the motive of site. Brilliant attracts math loving people from around the world. Surely we haven't come inspired from some kind of cool T-shirts as prizes to be won. At least for me, I have joined brilliant just for the fun I find in problem solving...

I don't want to limit the questions. You can observe that brilliant itself is not posting the questions, the users are. This leads to sometime incorrect answers, bad solutions, and wrong ratings. So I just want the brilliant staff to increase the number of problems they post and limit the number of questions users post, I forgot to mention that. Their problems. As for competitions and prizes, it was just a suggestion for attracting more people. U can have fun solving problems but at the same time a competition and prizes add to the initial amount of fun. Don't you agree?????
You have not experienced the older version of brilliant, that was fantastic
Well if this occurs it is really going to be great. Brilliant will get more users and this will make the brilliant community even more competitive and brilliant will get larger audiences
