Brilliant Squared!!

I just upgraded to Brilliant squared and it is seriously awesome!! However there are a few things that can be improved.

1.The scratchpad: The scratchpad is pretty good but we can only type in here and can't draw a diagram or so. So, could you please include a Paint like panel next to the existing scratchpad?

2.The Practice problems: Most often, I noticed that there is a repetition of problems. For example, this skill has the same answer to every problem because they are SO similar!

3.I had typed the same note and I went on to read the Rules and guidelines. But when I returned, all that I had typed in had disappeared. Thus I had to type it all over again... Please make the necessary changes if possible.

Thank you :)

  Easy Math Editor

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

@Arron Kau @Peter Taylor Can there be a feature where you can try out the first few skills in a set for free and after, you would need a Brilliant2\text{Brilliant}^2 account? That way, it can get users a limited edition of the skills and it would leave them at a cliffhanger. :)

Thanks!

Hiya Kevin, we are seriously considering ideas along those lines and in the future we may decide to implement the cliff-hanger.

Shreya, thanks for the encouraging feedback. The practice section does have some repetition, but the skill you saw in Combinatorics with the same problem over and over again was a bug. We have fixed it, give it a try!

Hi Shreya,

Thanks for the feedback! We will take all of these into account as we strive to make both Brilliant and Brilliant2Brilliant^2 better.

Out of curiosity, which aspects of Brilliant2Brilliant^2 do you find most useful so far?

Peter Taylor Staff - 7 years ago

I felt the save sets feature and the new topics introduced in Practice section were very useful. :)

@Shabarish Ch Well, if you feel that you need a set probably to view later, you can save the set using a feature in Brilliant Squared known as the save sets feature.

@Shreya R I had upgraded much earlier, but did not know of the save sets feature.
