Brilliant staff does not reply to emails nowdays..

Actually I need to start this discussion with an unexpected disappointment. In the past, whenever I used to email brilliant staff for clarification of a problem or something else, I used to get reply within 2 days at most. Recently, I emailed them about various things 3-4 times but they are not replying. I am waiting for reply for about 2 weeks or so. I am not getting what exactly has happened. Is the same thing happening with everybody? Also, would brilliant staff look into the matter please? Thank you

  Easy Math Editor

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

Comments

If you are referring to sending of clarifications or disputes sent in the challenges interface, we respond to all valid disputes within a day.
I see that you submitted a dispute on October 20 for an Order of Operations question in the Practice section. The question is correct. Your calculation was wrong because you did not divide by the fraction, but instead multiplied by it.
I do not see any other disputes, or clarifications, sent in the past month.

If you are referring to personal email, we will try to respond to relevant concerns. We do not reply to every single email.

Snehal,

It also seems likely that we might not be receiving your emails. We have one from you in support@brilliant.org from two days ago, but other than the Clarification Calvin mentioned, no other recent queries from you. When all else fails if you really need a response you can try me at discussions@brilliant.org.

I am sorry for my comment but when I was writing that comment, there were no comments below the discussion. Also, I realized later that my calculation was wrong (punishment of 30 points!). That physics problem needs to rewritten I think by the way. Hopefully Calvin and Peter would not take anything personally since both of you are nice guys! :) Sorry again if I was too rude.

That's because we need our beauty sleep. Until technology allows us to be replaced by an android, you have to put up with this flaw.
