Brilliant Status Contest: Season 2

Hello every $\large \displaystyle \int_{-\infty}^{0} e^{y} \ dy$ .

Everyone must have a different status. Some are inspired from great people (even copying from them :D), some have made their own, some show their emotions :|, some express what they are currently doing and even some of them even think for hours (even days and weeks) for a simple status.

I know everyone likes updating status. After the success of the First Season, here I am to conduct this contest again, which is $\color{magenta}{\text{Brilliant Status Contest}}$

Anyone can take part in the contest, no restrictions.
In the comment box, write the quote, status or a pun, and post it. You can use $\LaTeX$ to make it beautiful.
Scribbling and unwanted comments are not allowed .
Each member can post a maximum of 3 quotes, but it should be written in the reply of the first quote.
The quote can be minimum of 3 words and maximum of 50 words. It mustn't exceed or decrease.
The viewers can upvote the quotes which looks unique and interesting (even beautiful too).
$\textbf{ No one Must}$ downvote the comments, unless it is bad.
The person who gets most upvotes wins the contest. Never count the downvotes ,they don't the true meaning of the quote.

There always exists two powers within us, one good one bad. It is us who chooses from the two, in fact our environment never decides what we choose. It's only us. The two powers always exist within us, may be in disproportionality like the graph of 1/x. Every celestial being possess the capacity to change. It is never late to change and join the hands with good but the fact remains we have to choose.

Very nice status, but the only drawback is that good is very vulnerable. Bad people do bad to the good, but good remains silent.

Good and bad can never join hands. Furthermore, it is not the good remain silent but it is us who remain silent by choosing not to go against bad.It is in one way support to the bad powers in us and the people who too have chose th bad side.

@Ashish Menon – In my view, once we gain our understanding and the sense to diffrentiate, our mind becomes the home to three entities: the good, the bad and ouselves. It now depends on ourselves who we support and with whom we fight. the more true strength we have, the longer we can fight the bad. There is a need to tell people about this truth since it is a common belief that once we decide we cannot come back which is completely wrong.

@Puneet Pinku – Yeah, the environment of my home is such that I have been told not to go to fight if anyone does bad to me, but always to help oyhers in return :( Some people do bad to me but I am forbidden from replying :(

@Ashish Menon – But one thing still remains, it is never wrong to defend yourself but to purposefully to wrong to somebody as a revenge is considered wrong. infact sometimes helping them in times of need does gives them a push to their good side and makes them feel guilty of what they have done to you and ultimately helps them to realize the true truth..But we must be always ready in case they turn theirbacks to us after their work is done. Binging uch peopleon good path is really a difficult task but still possible as I stated earlier possible.

@Puneet Pinku – Yes, people rarely see the good deeds done by the good people,. If the good people do even a small mistake, they think they are bad too, right? :/

@Ashish Menon – But remeber there is a difference between mistake and doing bad. Mistakes are done by everyone you, me everyone. Even grandmastes do them but bad is done only when one allows the bad to take contol over us.Futhemore, if our imag is really true in hearts of people, people normally let go of them. But once it is known it was done purposefully, your image in the minds of society shatters and they don't believe in you anymore. But its still true that our previous character in their minds plays a huge role in this. Suppose a bad person if does something good people hardly believe it. Because they think a person once bad is completely controlled by bad but the fact is good i still alive in them. Such, must be motivated and carried towars good.

To show mercy is not weakness, on the contrary it is the sign of true strength. We must try to heal the wounds who gave up the path of good and joined hands with bad, show compassion and empathy towards them and tun them to good, once and for all times...

Humans are doing a lot of damage to our own planet, where you and I are living, nevertheless you and I are also humans, so we have to think about the basic rules to save our planet and ourselves. For example, humans need to breathe oxygen and plants produce enough of this oxygen so that we can breathe, then my first question is: what do we have to do to make for everything and everybody going in the right direction?

I disagree.The only real type of victory is one that is aquired by using the truth.Sure somebody could acheive success by lying and backhand dealings,but then that wouldn't be a real victory, would it :) ?

I know that Truth is the real victory. But in today's world something which matters the most is:WHAT YOU WIN, NOT HOW YOU WIN!! People today only see your achivements and accompalishments but not the pain and hardwork behind that. So you see my friend what lastly matters the most today is that you must win a game and not HOW you win a game!

I support you Abdur. The victory of truth is permanent, while victory by cheating is momentary. One can cheat and get a good rank in IIT, but his ultimate aim would be to serve his country as an engineer, which he can't accomplish with incomplete knowledge and hardwok. Therefore, truth has ultimate victory, no matter people agree or not.

Ok I think I got what Sunny wants to say, we are just taking his comment in a different way.I will explain it with an example:

Nihar and Swaplin enter a math competition. Swaplin takes a lot of sincere efforts for it. On the other hand, Nihar does nothing and bribes the competition holder to make Nihar stand first in it. As a result, Nihar stoods first and becomes famous everywhere, where as Swaplin stoods second inspite the "truth" that is the sincere efforts.So, the people know that Nihar has won the competition but do not know the TRUTH behind it. So its what victory matters and not the truth.

@Nihar Mahajan – That's precisely the problem. You can't just decide that only the Victory matters because it matters to the people.

The worth or value of a thing or concept is not dependent on the perception of its value or worth as perceived by other people.

Taking the specific example you gave, that false victory matters only in the eyes of other people because as you said,they don't know the truth behind it. But the fact is that that victory has no real value because it's not a true victory.

Science is a social phenomenon and like every other social phenomenon is limited by the beneWt or injury it confers on the community.
