BUNGLE IN THE JUNGLE....

Shin-Chan was investigating a sacred cult in the jungles of Africa when he was caught by one of the person. He was confined in a cave till the leader arrived. The leader told him that he need to tell him a statement. If he thinks the statement is true, then shin Chan's head will be chopped off. If he thinks that the statement is false, his head will be smashed with a hammer. What statement did our little cunning boy make to survive?

I think he will be smashed then, as he is telling false statement, as he is lying so he is saying "I know you won't kill me", but they are gonna do by smashing on his head

"You will smash my head with a hammer", will lead to confusion due to an infinite loop of statements.

This is similar to the Alligator Paradox

He will say-"I will be smashed with a hammer" . If in the case it is true (well it could not be) he should be chopped off but if he is true then he should be smashed. In case it is false then shine has would not be smashed but if he says false then he should be smashed. The leader would think through his life but would not come up to this one. Since an is saved.
