This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

Latex, but it doesn't need \ ( \ ), just copy paste the thing in the code block in one of your notes and see the button :)

@Nscs 747 – Depends, but most immortals who got their immortality for good and not for bad reasons, usually get powers as bonus. So Immortality is better in a way. I was offered immortality once, but I denied it, because I if I was immortal I'd see my friends, my mom, Paul and my Wise Girl die, so I turned down immortality gift from the gods.

And sometimes, gods are punished and their immortality is taken away for some time, making them mortal temporarily.

@Nscs 747 – Yes, you feel pain, but you can't die. Being immortal is to live forever, its not a power. It can be a curse sometimes, like for an immortal person who is tortured forever.

@Nscs 747 – They will have less powers than me as they are not children of gods. They are called Legacies. Children of legacies are also legacies, but weaker than actual legacies. It goes on. Though I don't plan on having a legacy...
