Hi everyone!
After seven months of planning, brainstorming, teamwork, support, and what-not, the dream of extending the OSO contest initiative has finally been fulfilled. On January 10, 2015 at 9 AM EST, my fellow staff members and I will host, for all interested high-school students, a calculus contest at MIT; and thus we start the journey of CalcBee. If you want to learn about CalcBee, you should visit the Facebook page and visit the awesome website made by Clive Chan.
All I can say besides that is the old-fashioned statement which all people say -- like the Facebook page to get updates about CalcBee which, if you haven't noticed, is a team-based contest which raises funds for Action in Africa. There are limited spots so the registration deadline is when all spots are filled or on January 9 at 9 AM EST, whichever comes first.
Thanks everybody! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. :)

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.
