Can some suggest me good engineering mathematics books to understand the concept better

First you need to clear your basic concept by solving some basic level numerical books such as K.C.Sinha. Then if you are preparing for competitive exams, then you should go for "TMH's Course in Mathematics for IIT-JEE" . It is the best book for competitive exams.
