Share your thoughts regarding whether we control our future or not.
If your answer is absolutely yes then let me give you a set back.
It's hard to explain but let's see what happens. Albert Einstein as opposed to Werner Heisenberg claimed that universe is predictable. If this is true then future is predictable given we have all the means to process all the information of the current events.
Now, what you are thinking and doing right now is a result of the thoughts that you've been thinking and things that you have been doing in the past. Similarly, your future is dependent on what you do or think now. This implies we are not free and can't change our fate.
For example, let's roll a dice. If you think closely, you will find that the outcome of the dice is predictable. It depends on how you throw the dice, what's the air resistance, wind speed, etc. Therefore, its already decided what will the dice show when you roll it.
The point here I am trying to make is that if this universe is predictable and it highly seems to be, nothing lies in our hands.
This is my opinion or thesis or whatever it is called. Share yours too!

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

If we can turn this hunch into something real, we can make a lot of money together on Wall Street.
