This Message Board has been created solely for the purpose of discussing about the Board Exams !!!
I'd love it if all my friends who are giving the Boards and other equivalent exams comment here and share your experience with all the Brilliant Minds out here
It would be even better if you comment after each exam , so we can get a fair idea on the relative difficulty of questions from the different Boards .

Firstly, thanks for creating this message board. I completed the paper with a couple of minutes to spare. Missed out on complacent and a pilgrimage MCQ. Rephrased and rewrote statements for Mrs. Hall's sketch. Wrote superfluous sentences just to include adjectives(yes, like this one). The only time I enjoy writing a speech is when I get to speak in front of people. This seems useless. Used cliche titles like "Incredible India!" for article. All-in-all, it was just like any other English paper, heavy on the pen, heavy on time, and low on everything else(except marks, I hope :) ). All the best everyone!

It is...but our teacher gave us her notes which makes it look much less although no of pages are almost the same..

I was able to complete it at 1:25.
wrote bad answers to the four 6 mark questions in literature section due to time worries.
No its nondescript. I too got it wrong but my classmates told me that it was nondescript. I can't believe that I got 2 meanings wrong in the exam. Its really not acceptable for me.!!!
Well I also think it's rendered. I wrote rendered in my sheet. BTW I got my second question wrong. I wrote it to be savouries.

Well, you haven't seen mine yet !! Try seeing Font size 9 in MS Word , that's my usual Font size and I had to improve it to size 14 , hance my speed fell during the exam .
Hey that's taking it a bit too far! Men have as much imagination as women! And some people don't care about their handwriting.

Leave the handwriting part. People who care about it will try to improve it(regardless of gender). But saying that girls have better imagination than boys is something that I do not agree with.

I had to leave a lot of space and write it bigger since I was trying to help someone , but it took a lot of effort since the ones I use are the Rs.2 ones , you know the one with a thin tip .

Actually I have those stuff in my Resonance Modules , all the JEE questions and Last 10 year Questions of CBSE .

You know i found a bizarre thing about NCERT ->Straight lines chapter in maths class 11 is longer than whole conic(Circle,parabola,hyperbola,ellipse all in one chapter conics). I was like ->>seriously!!!

Just to increase your stamina in Problem solving , hat's what a teacher from my institute says .
Learn stupid chapters like communication and semiconductors by heart. I mean the spectrum distribution and modulation and stuff. The physics textbook of class 12 is undoubtedly the worst thing to be published in the history of NCERT. Bad jokes, vague explanations, calculation errors, printing errors, logic errors, the list is endless!
Keep in mind to solve model paper set by board. I have a feeling that it will be useful.

Yes, I finished just nanoseconds before the time was up. The invigilator gave us an extra 5 minutes, so I got time to review the paper before final submission. I just hope the examiner be able to read my paper because my handwriting is very small, it's almost indecipherable for everyone but me. :3

Wow ! Even my handwriting is very small , I wasted a lot of time trying to write bigger and neater !! And then had to do the last 2 literature questions in 23 minutes !!

I used up a lot of time for the Reading section (probably about 1 hr and 15 minutes) because I was trying to make my handwriting bigger. But later, I thought, "To hell with it, I'll just write like my usual self and hope I get above 80 in English". Literature section was comparatively easy and less time-consuming. When I started the Writing section, I had about 1 hr left or so. I was lucky to complete it in time.

Likewise , but I had utilized the reading time to read all the passages two-three times , so as soon as I got the answer sheet , I knew what exactly had to be written . But my main trouble were in the writing skills section , I just hate writing skills .
Fortunately I had read an article on Indian Tourism(the day before) so I just had to reorganize the points and write it down .

Yes. I was just practicing some derivations from the first part (electrostatics). I don't what I'll do in Physics. I literally suck at it.

I guess I also will have to practice derivations , I had left them blank in both my Pre-Boards !!

I have somewhat of a brief idea on the topic but no, I haven't studied it properly yet. Physics bores me. Whenever I try to take some time to practice those boring derivations, I last for half an hour or so. After that, I again log in to Brilliant and practice some Algebra/NT problems. I wish they had a "deactivate account" option like Facebook. Then, maybe I'd be able to focus on Physics. :P

Yesterday , me and @Raghav Vaidyanathan started this note so that we could discuss about our exam prep and other stuff, I guess the fact it got heavy just proves the fact that we don't study Physics!!
Also if you get some good tricks to master derivations and remember formulae , pls share it with me :)
P.S. Do you still get time to spend on Omegle , coz a friend of mine is addicted to it and still uses it !!

Actually, the number of retards that I used to encounter on Omegle made me sick of it, so I don't go there much now. In contrast, I made an account on Chatango a few days ago.

My three papers: Chemistry, Electrical Maintainance (Paper 1 and 2) are remaining. So far Maths and English have been the best papers. Physics was a bit disappointing for me. Maths was pretty easy and English was lengthy.

Yeah. Usually they do. This year, the time table is disappointing. No holidays for the toughest subject! I just hope that it goes well -- (Especially the objective Grammar, writing, and yeah everything! )
Thanks , but it's just that I had referred to a book while learning French (my own pocket book, you know LaRousse and stuff) so I refer to it from time to time . It kinda helps keep that knowledge fresh :)
