CBSE Class-12 English exam

Hi friends most of us will be giving class 12th cbse board exam.

1st paper is of English.

How are you all preparing for english? OR What are you all doing now for english subject.

Also seniors guide us about exam strategy.

Also what score are you expecting in it?

Comments

Though I did not pass 12th from CBSE board but I would suggest you to go through the pattern in which they want the answers to be written like the answers and letter writing and stuff. Somehow I feel there are more marks for the format than the content. It is definitely not the platform where you should display your vocabulary skills. Try to use words that "they" find difficult if you feel that you want to add some flavour. Try to keep your paper as neat as possible.

Lol ! You will Laguh at me definetly when I tell you My english Marks ! $\ddot\smile$ Well I passed Last Year My Boards with 91% , I scored Less only due to English and my Practical's Since I was studied in Govt. school ( Rest You Know ) . Since I was Little More Than an Nughty and alway's make fun in my school's day's! I got 77 in Eng . and get 94 in two , 95 in other's two ! But English Kill's my future Past .

But Still I'am Happy with English Marks, Because I'am expecting Too low in it. . $\ddot\smile$ I'am Very Bad in English . You will Realise after reading this comment :) :) Me and my friend always Leave almost whole Paper of english is My Unit Test's and even in 1st Pre-board $\ddot\smile$ So I'am not right candidate to guide you . But I can suggest you To Learn Irony's ( Muhaware :) Lol ! ) etc. this are really important factor in mark's. My friend's Say's that the reason of their high scores in English is due to Irony' s (muhawary etc) . They Use these thing's in application's and Letter's , Literature rigorously !

So Keep Calm , You will Get High Scores . Also CBSE board checking's is really very Easy ! They Easily Give marks ! ! I'am Expecting my % to be around as 85-86 , But I will Surprise By my Final % . So Be Confident and

@Mahimn Bhatt – It's a long writing skill , so I suppose 8 marks or if there are plans for 10 marks questions, I guess it might be one of them

Well, currently I am not preparing for English at all ! I'll start from maybe, Saturday next week .

Actually I had got 93 marks in SA-I , and 90 and 93.5 in Pre-Boards I and II , you can say that I am not under any pressure for English now . Sorry, if I wasn't of any help to you .

But let me just tell you one thing , my English Teacher told us to prepare the novel well . My school (DPS Vadodara) has prescribed Silas Marner for us, I have read it just once . Once but thoroughly and watched it's movie adaptation on Youtube so I kinda know the whole story sequence by Heart .
