You shouldn't start worrying from now as these are recommendations.Only a few of them may be brought into practice. so first u should wait for official announcement
I think subjective tests are way better than objectives. This would help to test the conceptual understanding of candidates and make apt selections.

Well in 2017, the exams will be objective only, but the no. of tests are expected to increase.
