Four. They are methyl-propene (or isobutene), cis 2-butene, trans 2-butene and 1-butene (or simply butene).

Yes, but he specifies what kinds of isomers he wants (alkenes). C4H8 would be a cyclic alkane.

C4H8 have 4 isomers
C4H8 have 3 isomer, they are : H2C = CH – CH2– CH3 1-butena H3C - CH = CH– CH3 2-butena H2C = C – CH3 2-metilpropena I CH3

What about cis/trans isomers of 2-butene? Also I think you've wronged when writing methyl-propene's formula.
