let us take a natural number n then we perform 2 operations (1) add 2 and divide by 7 if n+2 is divisible by 7. (2) if 1st is not possible then multiply by 2. Repeat the same operations. I observed for quite a few numbers that it tends to infinity and i strongly believe that every number should tend to infinity. Does there exist a number for which it does not tend to infinity or makes a loop. !!!( ^-^ )

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.
