I have just found the Brilliant 3D section. It reminded me of an article I wrote some years ago called Complementary Solids which introduces this topic and offers an 'improved' variant of Euler's formula. It is on my website at www.mike-holden.org.uk/comsol.html . I would appreciate any constructive comments. Mike Holden. Email, mike-holden@outlook.com.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.
