I'm in level 2 in Physics. I think the problems unnecessarily have some 'stories' attached with them. Like say the "Indiana Jones" problem or the "soccer" problem or the "cranberry" problem. I'm not denying the fact that they are funny and make the problems realistic but sometimes the problem is lost in the potboiler.
So, I'd like to request Challenge Master, David to cut short these problems and stop beating about the bush.(at least for some problems)
Peace.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

I agree that when you are eager to do a problem the story around it seems annoying. But i feel that it gives a more realistic feel to it and makes physics a more "practical" subject than an "abstract" subject.
