Dividing by 0

I think any number X/0 should=infinity because 0+0+0+0+0... would never equal the number so their are infinite zeros in any given number therefore 1/0=infinity.

If you agree or disagree please say so and provide proof for your argument.

But there would be no inverse element for any X/0. If you argue that 0/X=0 would be the inverse element then there wouldnt be an absorbing element.

I am not arguing that 0/X=0 I am arguing that X/0=infinity 0/X is undefined

0/X is undefined? How? 0/X = 0 for all non-zero X as far as my knowledge goes.
