Do it for the sake of Science
Hi there, I've always been interested in the world of Quotations, Quotations by the intellectual minds out there. So I'm going to start a new thread here. Here's how you can contribute in the thread:
Post your most beloved quote. The quote can be of your own or any other person but it should belong to scientific disciplines ranging from mathematics to neuroscience. Mention the name of the author below it to further romanticise it. A particular member should submit only a single quote. Mine is:
"In the future, as in the past, the great ideas must be simplifying ideas."

Errors, and not error. The first one being :"make you down". The second:- in spite. The third :- put their every effort. (this is meaningless).

I beg to differ. Every language undeniably has an inherent beauty which is far more complex than even the math on this site. (maybe :P). Norman Lewis was no English teacher. He was just a travel writer whose rose to fame due to the grammar books he wrote (perhaps).

I sue to jar with. The undeniable ingrained beauty, intrinsic to every language, is indeed quite complex, but it ain't imperative for anything complex, to be governed by, if not associated with, logic.

Oh really? From this I can clearly understand that according to you the beauty in languages is only and only their jargon. Wake my my de'r, else it'll be too late for an English (Jargon) buff like you to appreciate the truth.

Not at all. I fully appreciate the ingenious fact that English is beautiful. My point is that English is, more or less, not driven by logic. The natural exceptions which arise due to the imperfection of the English language, in my opinion, make it beautiful. Jargon is the body of English, and there is indeed, mathematics without numbers.
I got it, he should use 'instead' in place of 'in spite'. Am I correct?

The WORLD is to small for the WORD. -Raven Herd I would explain that as follows, The 'word'(any) connects everything on this earth and out of this earth . 'Words' can create a life as well as destroy one , In the whole of mathematics WORD is the only subset set which is greater than the universal set WORLD.
