Ok, pick a number, any number Double it. Add 9. Subtract 3. Divide by 2. Subtract your original number. Let me guess.... your answer was 3!
Here's how it works...if you turn it into an equation you should start with... let x equal your original number. Double it.-2x Add 9: 2x + 9 subtract 3: 2x + 6 divide by 2: x+3 subtract your original number: you get 3.. thats why your answer is 3!
