There is a glitch in this weeks challenge problem set of mine. In the Algebra section, the first two problems are same. Both are same questions, and have same answers, but one is worth 55 points, while other is worth 70 points. I hope the brilliant staff will look into this.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

That happened because the difficulty of the problem updated after you viewed the first problem (and before you viewed the second problem). We're experimenting with this system, since we have ratings in place.
You were assigned problem X as the 55 point question. Subsequently, the difficulty of the problem was adjusted up to 70 points. When we tried to grab a 70 point question for you, the algorithm happened to choose this question to you.
Ideally, this should not happen. Pardon the mess as we seek to improve your problem solving experience :)

Oh, i got it. And it's a very good system, sir!
By the way, sir, I should be Level 4 in Algebra also, as my rating is way above 1750. Till yesterday it showed Level 4 only, but suddenly it switched to Level 3. Please look into it, as I am eager to solve Level 4 next week!

It just so happens that you hit upon another glitch!
We've identified the error and fixed it so that it shouldn't happen again. I've manually moved your level up back to 4, and it shows in your profile.
