Friday the 13th is back. I can't wait to see all sorts of problems, both weird and whacky, to be posted. Link the problems that you make based on Friday the 13th. This note will have a tag Fridaythe13th. Make sure your problems are also tagged with this as well. Happy horror movie marathon! :D

  Easy Math Editor

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

I'm a little scared about How to Train Your Dragon 2 now...

But it is only an animated film. Watch Robocop instead.

@Beakal Tiliksew Hey, do you actually want nightmares? If so, watch Paranormal 4.

Movies released on Friday the 13th tend to usually be scary, so I was jokingly implying that there might have been something that the trailer wasn't telling us. A bunch of friends and I are going to see it, but I don't think any of us realized (or would care if they did) that it was released on Friday the 13th.

Additionally, I don't really like scary movies. There are very few movies that I will actually go and watch, but one of those is HTTYD2. I'm more of an anime person.

Watch Edge of tomorrow or Maleficent. They are better than Robocop, according to critics at least.
