Happy to be a TEACHER- Celebrating Teacher's Day

Teachers' Day is intended to be special day for the appreciation of teachers and celebrate to honour them for their special contributions in a particular field area or the community. The date on which Teachers' Day is celebrated good from country to country. In India, Teacher's day is celebrated on 5th September in honour of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (5 September 1888 – 17 April 1975) was an Indian philosopher, first Vice President of India (1952–1962) and the second President of India from 1962 to 1967.

A very happy teacher's day to all the teachers and the students!

Special thanks to Rohit Gupta sir, for all your teachings and blessing and for being my favorite teacher!

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

Well, it's a really special day for me. It has been an irony that it's my birthday today and I have never found a teacher in my whole life whom I should give due respect. Teachers have come for me in the form of online sources only(technically they are not "teachers"). I have arisen this point because I want to raise a political issue of the lack of quality teachers in India. I want the govt. to take a stand on this issue(there has been no remarkable policy formulated on this issue lately).
