There is a bridge. Two guards stand to guard the bridge, one at each end to stop anyone from crossing at any side. It takes 30 minutes to cross the bridge (walk or run) - For the purpose of the riddle. The guards take 1, 15 minute break every day (only once!). How would you get across the bridge? (You have to walk.) The guards take the break at the same time.

The answer to this riddle is: You walk 15 minutes to the middle of the bridge and then you quickly turn around. So, the guard on the side you want to reach will threaten you to come back, thinking you are trying to get to the other side (which you originally left from). So, you will reach from one point of the bridge to the other.

that depends on the cruelty of the guards. If they're cruel, they could as well kill you instead. You could still possibly get to the other side if the people bring your dead body there, though.
u did not tell us they only call us back or that they just take us and carry us to the sied or biggest thing WHAT ARE THEY DOING IN BREAK ?? SLEEP SIT DOWN JUST LETTING PEOPLE GO? WHAT becuz are there eyes closed that they cant see you go which way?
I know my answers are wrong (:D), but this is what can happen-
We will go on the bridge during the break on one day, and will come out another day.(good one!)
The guards take the breaks at different times of the day!
The third answer is super-duper awesome- ""By walking""...!!!

Best answers ever! :D
Just walk across. Two guards with only 15minutes of sleep a day are in no shape to stop anyone.
The guards break at the same time. What if they are in different time zones? The you can cross easily.
half go the other way
so theres the obvious answer of walking halfway and then running back the same way you came to trick the guards. Also you could go halfway and if the guards dont check the bridge just sleep there until their next break (the next day) OR i could be difficult and say what kind of bridge? because some bridges you can walk UNDER.
Ride a bicycle across the bridge
You cut the bridge little by little every day until in breaks in half so next time they leave you only half to walk half the distance and thus half the time which is 15 minutes.
well you could just wait on the bridge over night and finish the rest of the bridge the next day when they have a break again. this is all assuming the bridge is really long and they won't see you
It is quite easy as far as I got it.
Guards go to a 15 minute break and we just start walking on the bridge. After 15 minutes, we have covered half of the bridge(supposing that we are walking at a constant rate). Now, the guards come at the start of the bridge and start patrolling. Now suppose that they are also walking at a constant rate, so they will reach us in 15 minutes(we are in the middle). But we will also walk at the same speed and will cover the next half in 15 minutes.
Therefore, we have crossed the bridge. I made it look difficult but yes it is simple and I know that I might be wrong.

Are you sure the guards could not see you in a distance? I don't think they're blind enough and the goal is to not have them notice anything.

Even if they see me, then what? What will they do? Whatsoever I will cross the bridge and that is my goal not to do so without them notice anything. Our goal is to cross the bridge without being caught by the guards.
At least that is what I got from the problem.

As this fact is not referred to any person, it can be applied on anyone, even the guards. And if they run, then don't forget I have also seen the road runner show many a time. Ready to run?

It takes 30 minutes to cross the bridge.
They wouldn't have to walk that much they would threaten you to come back without walking to you.

yeah, they could take out their guns and destroy you.
on another note, the guards are 'one at each end', which means while one of them may not get to you, you'll be getting closer to the other guard.. you'll be surrounded by guards with no way of escaping other than jumping out of the bridge.
Go during the break. Now if you mean by 'taking a break' that no guards are there, it's easy work getting on the bridge, and if you mean 'taking a nap', then just be super cautious. Now walk as far as possible towards the other end of that bridge and when 15 minutes is about to end just start running in the opposite direction towards the same side of the bridge that you were coming from. The guards will now see you and think that you were coming from the opposite side. They'll catch you and now 'make you' walk to the other side.
