Case I:A is fixed to ground, so, the velocity of P will be ωR at angle 120∘ to the line joining AP, thus, ω1=3RωRcos30∘
Case II:A is fixed to disc, in this case, velocity of A will add up in relative velocity. In this case also, velocity of A will be ωR at angle 60∘ to the line joining AP. Thus, ω2=3RωRcos30∘+ωRcos30∘=2ω1⇒ω2ω1=21
