Help me!

Recently all of us (fiitjeeians) have given Reshuffling test. Iit was overall easy but i found chemistry quite difficult . To my surprise I was able to solve chem question easily at home but not at the test center this happens with me only and only in chemistry. What should i do to prevent this?

In my opinion, this mostly happens for two reasons:

confidence level in chemistry
taking an unnecessary burden of the exam.

To overcome this situation, you should practice chemistry as much as you can so that you can grab substantial confidence in that section.

And most importantly, stop thinking that this happens with you and start taking it as an ordinary coincidence. Don't highlight this to your mind. I hope it will help you.

Thank you sir . But i perform well in chemistry class and also pratice it much then too I mess up my chemisrty section in the phase test and aits .Before i use to enjoy chemistry but started hating it when my interest in physics started to grow

@Gauri shankar Mishra Chemistry in FIITJEE tests is difficult overall. It is more of theory. As you told Sandeep sir, You interest in Physics started growing because there are numerical questions.

I'm not very good at advising people, specially related to Chemistry, but here's what you can do.

1) Revise your notes thoroughly. Also read the FIITJEE package thoroughly.

2) Read the NCERT.

3) Read the extra notes given by the faculty

4)Any simple term you do not understand, try to google it and read it's wiki page.

5) See previous papers and deduce what type of questions can be asked.

This really, really helps. I'm not very good at chemistry myself, but these methods certainly help.

Yup It is very difficult but they ask the basics in a very twisted manner and the problems are tough.

Hi i don't know my advice would be beneficial or not but it works for me and so this time in jee mains 2016 i m getting 320 to 330,,,,, i think physical is an easy part and u must not have any problem for inorganic just take ncert and get it on ur tips all the tables and special facts..if wanted to read jd lee for organics critical points must be on ur tips they only ask that...... i think this is fine......but try to finish 30 questions of mains level paper in 20 - 30 mins. By the way i m from vidyamandir classes and also given fiitjee aits

Hi , I too am a FIITJEEian studying at FIITJEE World School , Hyderabad . I guess you should just stay cool during the exam . It happens many times that students know it all but they aren't able to present it because of the tension . I guess that's happening with you. The same happened to me during the time we were doing Current Electricity . Just stay calm . Get some good sleep . Study Hard but not to an extent where you stop enjoying life. That's it and there are many good problems related to Chemistry on Brilliant.org . You can solve them and be thorough with the basics. That's it!

I always wanted to know about fiitjee world school. So, how it is? how are the faculty and studies there?

The faculty is fine but the material and the workbook is what I love the most.The school is overall..Ok but there are no co-curricular activities . There are 4 branches.
