I feel like such an idiot. I am lacking in the most basic math skills. I can add and subtract multiply and devide. Bet the moment you start adding letters and fractions, forget it. I don't understand, I know it's simple stuff but no matter what I do I can't seam to wrap my head around it. The examples don't explain it in a way I can understand.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.
