This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

First, select a suitable level for your problems.

Next, as people attempt the problem over time, we will become more certain of the rating. Past a certain threshold, the rating is revealed. As such, the best way is to make your problem interesting, which would entice people to click on it and solve it.

This is not a technical glitch like you claim, but a safety mechanism to limit the effects of people whom inaccurately report the level of the problem. We are trying to be aggressive with revealing this early, and I believe we have gotten it to a state where almost all ratings are reasonably stable when revealed, and the occasional outliers that get through are due to intentional abuses.

Sorry sir ,but what do you mean by " intentional abuses " . Thanks for the same .

Then we will have to be very careful while selecting the level of a problem , lest unrated then we have to start afresh.

You should estimate a rating for your problem when you submit the problem. After some views, attempts, and solutions are carried out your rating will be edited by a computer program designed for this goal.

Yes Sir ,but I've tried to rate each problem but only a handful of problems are given the desired rating. For rest ,It comes like this Level Pending (100 points)\text{Level Pending (100 points)}. Maybe I think this technical glitch does not allow the problem to disclose it in "community" section.

mine too.............

I think there is a specific number of views needed to give it a level

I see that you have a lot of followers , so I think if your problems are reshared then you shouldn't have any problem .
