This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science
related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should
explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments
should further the discussion of math and science.
When posting on Brilliant:
Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

Generally in case of Hydrogen or the Methanol electrodes pressure term is included , because we deal with them
in a different way , in a closed container where every parameter is carefully balanced .
But as in general problems , we only use 'atm' as the unit but further should depend upon what value of Gas Constant we used.

well you need not worry !!.
What you said that ncert did'nt used the pressure term , It was all for the standard conditions of 1 ATM pressure only and 298 K temp. that was kept constant and was not included in the concentration terms (Since these quantities are constrained to be constants) . even if you put 1atm in your calculation and showed it.It is not probably going to be wrong.
And simply the answer should be 0.38Volts.
Chemistry was extremely easy and 95+ is definitely plausible. As for physics, I literally finished the paper in the last minute, so I'm not very satisfied...95+ only if all goes well...Is it just me or don't you think more numericals instead of all that theory would have been better(I used 2 supplementary booklets -_-)?
It did go great in both for me but not particularly awesome in either (in physics, my proof of brewsters angle wasnt so satisfactory, and in chemistry i left glyptal as i did not remember it)

Not Everyone. ! Atleast who studied in govt. school don't get easily full score if thier impression were not good. In such school's student's must have to do " Chap-lusi " ....! Lol !
@Karan Shekhawat
–
i study in govt school, Kendriya Vidyalaya , nope , your generalisation is not universal, and my impression is not particularly good (nor is it bad)
@Mvs Saketh
–
wow we are from same schools , I'am too from Kendriya Vidyalaya . Yes I agree But My Chemistry Teacher is Kind Like that person. my Physics teacher is really good person , But Really Chemistry teacher has not kind heart . bro Seriously You did not have good impression ? I mean U are genius .
@Karan Shekhawat

Bro, i am fine in studies, but impression would mean also being alive a bit in school, i always conserve energy by not giving a shit :P oh , yes that depends on your teacher, that is indeed a problem if a teacher is against you when it comes to practical

Finally JEE Mains admit card is out, just want to ask one thing do the name we enter in our JEE Mains form and the Name printed in our admit card of boards must be same, cause there's a slight difference in the two in my application form.
Chemistry went great. think I'll cross 95. Physics was not difficult, but it was lengthy, I'll surely get more than 90, but the rest is up to whoever hands my paper lands on.
Somebody help me with this question...
QueA unit of area, often used in measuring land areas, is the hectare defined as 104 m2. An open-pit coal mine consumes 75 hectares of land, down to a depth of 26 m, each year. What volume of earth, in cubic kilometre, is removed in this time?
Hello guys, How are you preparing for upcoming maths exam on 18/3. Solving ncert? last year paper? or sample paper? or jee?.
Kindly share. Its getting boring now. :(

I did it much well today. Expecting 95+, but Physics went too bad. I couldn't complete it.
Friends, please tell is pressure included in nerst equation in rxn quotient term, if yes then in atm. or bar.

Please, also tell is it necessary to show bent structure of ClF3.

I too used pressure in my chemistry paper , but in ncert it is not used.
so will I be given marks in that question.

I am expecting 95+ in both subjects, but everything depends on the one who checks the paper.

Just Curious , did you guys expecting full out of full in Practicals ? 30/30 in both ?

In the chemistry paper , the only question i think , i wrongly attempted was for an example to an antihistamine drug. I too expect 95+ .

whats the answer....
Chemistry-Good Physics-Good No expectations as of now. Physics was more of ncert based and little conceptual. Chemistry was damn easy.
