This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science
related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should
explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments
should further the discussion of math and science.
When posting on Brilliant:
Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

The paper was easy but I had only 5 minutes left to revise. I think I got every question correct with all necessary steps but as I couldn't revise properly, might lose some marks in careless mistakes. Definitely 95+. Hoping for 98-100.
definitely above 90, only place where i might lose marks are the question which was asked to be solved by matrix method, Though i did solve it using matrices only by some how converting it into a matrix problem .
what about you?
I am expecting around 99/100 if everything I have written contained no silly mistakes well 1 marks I am losing because in a 6 marks question after completing solving at last I wrote the answer as 2(2+2)=22
Also is this your actual photo, you have as your profile pic.

oh its fine then, either that question wasnt in my set or maybe it was in option,
Actually, it is camera effect, i am just 174cm long , shorter than you as well perhaps.
And, no, i did the Miscellanious exercices from CBSE before board exam and two to three integration questions were from there only, I do not know why some of these parents demand retest because their kid is an idiot . Infact, i finished it 40 mins ago and rechecked it twice, and they say time was low, infact some were telling me to ask for retest as well

I am 166 only, among my friends I am the shortest, way shorter than each one of them. I am joked too much about my height.
I think, I will definitely score in between 95 and 99.
Not sure if I have done the question of getting expression 'A^2 -5A+4I' given matrix 'A' correctly, I think I have copied 'A' wrongly from the question paper.
The paper was very easy for me and almost all of my friends and classmates. I do not know why people are saying that it was tough. Strongly believe that there was some difference between my question paper and yours. My qp code is 65/2/MT. A lot of my friends finished almost 30 min before time. @Ronak Agarwal
Definitely 88-90 ,Will only loss marks if there are any silly mistakes or calculation error..
Also On the difficulty of the paper, for us preparing for advance the paper was not that challenging but for the ones who have taken Maths as A fifth subject it was a disaster..
I remember a girl seeing a girl crying during the exam..
Roopesh Must have seen it too.We were in the same room..:3 :3
But All left is IP which is a very interesting Subject..What are you planning to Study???Ronak Agarwal And Roopesh..
Since I know only two of you having taken IP on Brilliant..
Disastrous. I don't know why but I skipped past the binary operations 6 marker. I literally didn't see it. And the sad thing is that it probably was the easiest 6 marker of the lot. Expecting anywhere between 85-90.
I am expecting above 90. The sad part is i realized two of my mistakes yesterday only. The paper was kind of moderate but difficult as compared to last year's paper.
Guys, can you please tell me your question paper codes? Not just the set number, but also the code, mine is 65/2/MT. I have been running into a lot of complaints about the exam wherever I turn, even in the newspaper, there were two separate articles about it. Please do reply.

Hi
The paper we got in Delhi was different from this and for me it was not difficult but lengthy. got no time to revise
I did some very stupid mistakes ( like 3 X 2=5 due to which i lost 1 mark )
expecting around 93-95.

Just wanted to ask, are there people out here who are having Physical Education as their 5th subject ?
If yes, then please tell how are you preparing for the exam ?? I am just reading the chapters from the book, will it do ?

No , I didn't see anyone crying . You see I had my own problems to deal with .
Would you mind writing the initial of the one who was crying ?
Seriously , YOU are going to study IP ?? I am just going to read the Chapters 1,2 and the last Chapter (was it 16th ?)
Hmm , I think I'll get between 85-90 (yes , I had a definitely bad outing there)
But I'm just focusing on JEE Advanced right now , so I think it's no big deal .

Can anyone post solution to ∫x(x+sinx)xcosx+sinxdx
Log in to reply
I know the answer to the problem with the minus sign in the numerator but not this one.
I have the answer as :
I=∫x(x+sinx)xcosx−sinxdx=∫x(x+sinx)(xcosx+x)−(x+sinx)dx
I=ln(1+xsinx)
Sorry but I don't have the answer to your problem.
Does anyone have I.P previous year question paper along with the solution(all sets). Can anyone send the link regarding the same?
