Hi guys,
I think most of you know about the topic mentioned above, like aid missions to the area where there's an earthquake or tsunami. I came up with an idea to decrease the time it takes for aid to be delivered to disaster victims. Old ICBMs which have a long range could be modified to carry a capsule which could accommodate supplies and medical aid. Then, the capsule would be filled with a low viscosity liquid to dampen vibrations. The capsule would be fitted with reentry shields, a guidance system, thrusters and parachutes. Modern missiles have a circular error probability of ~50m so they would be fairly accurate. What do you guys think of this idea?
