This set of problems is a recent idea of mine. I don't have a good name for it yet and hence the title. I wanted to take some multiple choice questions that didn't have a numerical answer and share them with all of you.
My original idea was to take problems of various topics and put them into a set. of those questions were supposed to be multiple choice questions and every th problem was supposed to have a numerical answer and they were like check-points. This set of problems you have before you is sort of like a demo of what's to come. I put problems instead of . If this proves to be popular, I'll do it in a regular basis.
As you can see, this set-format has no name yet. I'd love the community to suggest me names for this.
This is a very rushed note. I'm rushing this because one of the problems leaked before [thanks to @Calvin Lin for that]. It was called Integer Pythagoras. If you liked that problem, I believe you'll like the others. Since this is very rushed, I haven't been able to post the solutions to all of the problems.
Comment, share your ideas and offer me feedback.
Thanks!
Mursalin.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

Here are some suggestions for titles
1) Confused? Stumped? Try your luck!
2) Think you know math? Think again.
3) MCQ is not as easy as 1-2-3.
4) How well do you know math?
5) Can you think mathematically?
6) Counterexamples in mathematics.
7) Can you separate the truth from the lies?

I really like 3 and 7. Thanks!
Ooops.
I loved this set. The problems in them certainly make you think carefully about what you know.
I think 8 problems is a good stopping place, as that also allows you to judge what people like and adjust from there.
