The image is a "shark fin"
The area of the shaded area (the shark fin) is ¼ of the black circle with radius 56
minus
½ of the white circle with radius 25
gives the area of the "shark fin" : 392π

Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.

No, I did not post it as a problem. It was a problem and I noticed there were no solutions as yet. So I tried to give mine. Ans is 392π square units. But I'm not sure if I did it correctly. Can you let me know? How do I find this problem again? I do not know the title; I called it "fin" because it reminded me of a shark fin. Thanks, Gwen
