I see myself running towards me.

I am running faster than the speed of light.

At some point, I turn around.

I see myself running towards me.

At some point, that me turns around.

That me sees itself running towards itself.

At a certain point, that self that sees itself running towards itself turns around.

That myself that sees itself running towards itself sees itself.

At a certain point...

What do you think about that?

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

U won’t see you running towards you because light won’t able to catch up to you ( no force in this world can ever stop you ) and second light won’t be able to reflect against you to make an image ( based on the fact that you are faster than light ) of you and third and mostly importantly you just broke relativity lol

I figure this as...

My "no-light me" is forward, and looking back that "no-light me" can see the light projected by me some time before. :)

What I see is not really "me", is the image of me.

A deep point of discussion is: are we "existent" dependent on the fact that the light form our images?
(I know this touches delicate points)

My point is there will be no light from you some time before because all of it will be absorbed by you and only people behind you can see you and not people in front of you, ( the latter includes you ) I am using the law that speed of light is constant for any frame to tell this, haven’t used any other relativistic principles which have to be used so this surely not the full story
