I really wonder how Brilliant is taking care of financial things. There are no ads on this website and they don't even ask for donations. Still I feel that it is a good idea that users donate a small amount to Brilliant so that this nice website will always be here and will keep becoming better without any financial problems. I would like to donate some amount right away if possible.. :)

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

Hi Snehal!
From our FAQ
We are touched by your dedication and your concern for keeping Brilliant around into perpetuity. At this stage everybody should donate their participation. We will continue to work on ways to make that participation more meaningful to you and to others. 1000's of people who do not have access to an environment where they experience math and physics at a challenging level benefit every time you share an idea, explain a concept, and talk through a problem on Brilliant. The best way to ensure that Brilliant stays around forever, is to make it a welcoming and stimulating place for larger and larger numbers of people from around the world.

I sincerely appreciate all the things Brilliant and people working their do. Thanks a lot.
I think this might not be such a good idea, keeping the site free while asking for donations and integrating it with other educational sites and organizations might be a better idea. Brilliant is likely to become a phenomenal site, quite like AOPS, so I think you guys don't need to worry about funding.
thank you sir
My math teacher says it is run by this really rich guy and they are just trying to attract as many people as they can to the site at the moment
