This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science
related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should
explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments
should further the discussion of math and science.
When posting on Brilliant:
Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

where do you stay avn bha? if you stay somewhere in hyderabad i could suggest you with some good institutes you can join in....and coming to your question...the earlier you start the better..the more time you get to get deep into each concept...but remember...even i started my prep from 10th but i was always in a hurry to jump to the next chapter without fully understanding one...so i had to do it all over again in my 11th which was even more troublesome than starting anew..so give each and every concept its time don't do things in haste...you still have time..
well....... i am in 12th now n preparing for JEE frm my 11th........see......the portion of JEE is vast.....if you start your preparation aft ur 10th exams it will help u to flow well......that is....it will be easier to grasp concepts.....in a longer period of time......it will give you more time to study too......so i may say start aft 10th..and plz join a coaching class......these classes have best faculties....coz most of them are iitians......so they hv experience of the exam....the way IIT askes the question etc............if u live in Mumbai.den it is coachin class important here than the college......think and study well....... :D
I have just given class 9th final exams and i would start class 10th from June.my parents said that i shall study the concepts of class10th thoroughly and then in class 11th and 12th i will join some good coaching institute for JEE .
I'll suggest you joining coaching institute after giving 10th boards. For now, concentrate on boards. Joining after giving 10th boards is better. Most of the toppers of IIT JEE are either students of two year coaching or of integrated course.
You can take distance learning course from Kota institutes( Allen,Resonance) which are very good for conceptual knowledge.I am doing it for my grand children who are in Bangkok and one of them now in US Michigan university.
If you want details contact me on my email [email protected] and my no 098 290 38864
K.K.GARG,Kota.
I am currently in 11th going to resonance and preparing for JEE(ADV.) and i will really advice to join a coaching as it is very very helpful ! You will be in a habbit of hactic schedule and will not have to worry so much in future.ALL THE BEST
