Intro to Digital Counters

I will just share here, in this note, what I have learned during our class in LCST.

This shows the basic operation of the 7493 IC as used as a digital binary counter which generates logic 0000 to logic 1111. 7493N

This shows a seven segment common cathode display. Each pin in the left is uniquely designated to light up a 'segment'. Combination of these segments creates characters, usually numbers.

This shows the operation of a 7447 IC decoder. Binary inputs in the left is 'decoded' to its decimal equivalent as shown in the seven segment common anode display. For example, $1001_2=9_{10}$ .

What is full form of LCST. Is it a stream? just like mechanical engg? What all do they teach in this stream?
