I'm an Indian resident of 14 years, who is intrigued by Science and Mathematical stuff! I enjoy reading. I love learning something new in science and math. During leisurely times, I use to ponder upon the famous quote by the eminent astrophysicist, Niels Bohr, "Everything we call real is made of things that cannot be regarded as real" which is actually very true and bizarre! My ambition is to succeed in becoming an eminent astrobiologist! My view to the world is that "anyone can become a researcher!" :)

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

Sanghamitra Anand, i am very happy for you and keep going like that in your life.I turn 14 years old this march and i want to say that when i was in 6th grade i was terrible at math.I was miserable and i wanted so hard to be good at math because my father was good at math and he would not stop pushing me to learn and practice about math. So, in the next summer before i was in 7th grade i started taking some private math lessons , and it's been 1 year and 7 months to be precise since i started to take those lessons and i must say it didn't just help to recover myself but it also made me love math and i started looking up for different math websites and buying all those math books for olympiad and i must say that now i am worthy to compete in olympiad style in my country,Albania.I am also exploiting this discussion to thank Brilliant for the huge help that this website has given to me.Thank you , Brilliant!

Oh, thank you Lorenc Bushi! I too wasn't good at math nor did I have any interest towards it till my 5th grade, only after I met a new maths teacher in my 6th grade, i started gaining an interest and curiosity towards maths. Since then, I'm doing good in maths. But still I've to learn a lot extra! I've planned to do that during my summer holidays in April & May! My interest towards maths has been motivated by many great mathematicians like Shakuntala Devi, and Ramanujan. In maths, I like Algebra, Geometry, Trignometry and Number theory! And also, maths is very important for my ambition, you know? :)

Hi! Sanghamitra! How was the workshop you attended? Was it good? What were the new things you learnt from that workshop?

The workshop was awesome! I really enjoyed the workshop! Various higher secondary math basics were covered! The best part was that they gave questions and time for the students to ponder on various concepts, derive formulas, etc... We were also introduced to math related economics!
Hey Krishna! How are you? What are you doing now? :D
