Results are in! The Open Olympiad 2014 comes to an end.
Round 2 Results
The others did not attempt Round 2, thus got a score of 0.*
Cumulative Open Olympiad Scores
This was quite disappointing. As mentioned before, it is better to try and get 1/7 and not try and wonder if an attempt may have achieved 2/7.
In this regard, Sayan Mukherjee's submission stood out as he attempted every problem but got full-credit on only 3 out of the 6 Round 2 Problems, edging out with a Bronze medal.
Thank you to everybody who participated; we hope you enjoyed your time at the Open Olympiad! Stay updated, an announcement about the next contest is not far.
The top 3 will be e-Mailed shortly about prize details.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

Congrats to all!
I tried only round 2 as I didn't have much time for round 1 . I didn't submit as I didn't know how to make a pdf containing math equations. I tried to make a pdf for only one problem and it took 1 hour, as I was copying images of equations and pasting in word first ,then converting to pdf. You can check the pdf here
Please introduce a system in which we can directly submit the solutions in latex, as we do here at brilliant next time. Thanks.

The rules never stated that you have to submit as a PDF. Some people even just scanned written work and e-Mailed it to us. The only requirement was that you e-Mailed us, not that it was a LATEX PDF.

I don't have a scanner!

LATEX!
Then you could just type them in non-Just for the note, you should use websites like ShareLaTeX for making LaTeX files next time on. :)
Congratulations!!
That is a great achievement! Congrats to all winners. Are any of them on Brilliant.org?
