Is it my IMAGINAtion or REALity..?

This process was used in one of the prob

i^(2)sqrt(b)=sqrt(i^(4)b)

check the pic..

How can it happen..? The ans was right.. And i also cant see how it cant be right.. but i can't digest the final ans.. What law states it wrong?

P.S: I don't wanna prove he is wrong or something like that.. Its just for my curiosity..
