I firmly believe that there exist an extraterrestrial life other than us because there is possibility of combination of various chemical to form simple lifeform in a distant place, therefore I will not conclude here I would continue saying that simple lifeform may evolve in complex lifeform as us or not there could possibility as some evolution requires a specific conditions, therefore of if they are evolved like us then there is very least possibility of our methods of communication even if mathematics is language of nature there could be different in our mathematical view, so I think so thats why communication between us difficult then we thought of symbols but to a symbol alone there could many interpretations. To increase our probability I believe that all of the scientific community should come together and start building a rockets or vehicle which can send us thousand light years far, and one day I believe we would celebrate with another lifeform as in star trek, star wars and etc
