ISI Interview Experience

(Not detailed.. but the questions asked)

Hey guys! I just cleared CMI and is selected for ISI interview which is on 18th June at ISI Bangalore. One of my friend Srijanak gave interview on 5th June(or 6th).... and he just shared the questions asked to him.

These are some of the questions which are asked(I will provide you guys with some hints at the end of the NOTE).

If g is a function such that $g:R \rightarrow R$ be defined as

$\large{\displaystyle{g(y)=lim_{x \rightarrow \infty} (f(x+y)-f(x))}}$ (nothing about f was told so that they can tweak question and ask for which kind of f is your solution valid) Then we have to prove $\large{g(y+z)=g(y)+g(z)}$

Find the $100th$ derivative of f(x) w.r.t x where $f(x)=\dfrac{x^2+1}{ x^3-x}$

Find the number of elements in sample space if 20 dices are thrown together

i) Find the number of cases where the sum of digits on the dices thrown are even,

I) Just start from where we have to prove

II)Try breaking the function summation of functions of the form $\dfrac{1}{x-a}$

III)1st part is really easy.... answer $6^{20}$ And then i couldnt do this part....

Ha IIT ka hi plan hai.... Jaise tumko jo bola tha.... Toh Abhi dekhte hain... Agar JEEA mein Mann ka branch nahi mile toh change karna padhega plans... CMI mein PURA turion feed of 6 lakhs mereko scholarship milrha h

Heyyy!!!! Yaar abhi tak to sahi hai…..I just finished Resnick Halliday ka 12th class waala part and ab main 11th revise kar rhaa hun…..Maths to almost completed hai…..I am aiming to finish Physics class 11th by 20th August and fir Chem ki revision...….so by September beginning or max mid Sept, mera revision wagarah ho gyaa hoga and I'll have practise time...….

But tu yeh bata, how's college life??? Classes started?? and what about quiz clubs??(IIT ke kaafi badhiya hote hain…)…

Arre bhaiiI!!! Main sahi hun bas ab Mains ki date aagyi hai so final prep time...…..aajkal vaise bhi AITS bhi hote hain so also uske liye thoda extra bhi padhna padhta hai…..but ab I am only lacking in chemistry imo…..baaki I'm hoping for the best!!!

Anyways approx to I guess 230s mein aa rhe hain out of 300.....but still dude maths mein maine ek do question mein itni faaltu galti kardi hai I think.....pata nhi kaisa hoga yaar!!!

@Aaghaz Mahajan – Arre chill kr mera bhi pehle waale me 230s mein hi tha... so chill aur april k liye pel k padh...mera april m kaafi improve hua tha... 262 aagya tha.... u can do much better..waise shifts dependent hoti h.. my shift was tougher.. easier shifts mein logo ko aur asaani se mil rhe the 300+ .... never mind.... aur haan bhej diya m hangouts p yaar.. :P

@Md Zuhair – wait a sec.....300+ kaise aa sakte hain??? Paper hi 300 marks ka hai xDDD!! lmao....but yeah ab april ke liye dhyaan dena padhega chemistry ki taraf mujhe....kaafi zyaada ajeeb thi....although mere sabhi doston ka general perspective was that chem was the easiest lol.....
