As around just 100 days left in JEE Advanced 2015, I have decided to post a set of 8 problems every week (4 topics/set, 2 questions/topic). I hope these sets will cover most of the syllabus. \(\ddot\smile\)
Solutions will be added, if not already posted, after a week.
I'll keep on updating this note to add new links every week. Feedbacks and suggestions are welcomed.
So here goes my list:
Easy Math Editor
This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

Best Of Luck To Everyone !!!
It would be nice if I could get into a good IIT and it would be even better if someone from Brilliant is there with me .
Best of luck to you too! ⌣¨
Aren't all IITs good?
All the best
Yes, I think 'good' is a relative term. They are better than other colleges in India. But IIT-B is better than IIT-Bhu or IIT-Roorkee. So we can't say IIT-Bhu is bad. That's just a comparison.

Here's the next Advanced one. Mains will be coming tomorrow. Any suggestion/idea?
I'll also welcome chapter requests as in which chapters do you want. I get confused like "Should I post this one or that one? This is interesting but that's important..." and then end up posting bad or not-so-good questions.
Your questions are great.. if not the best. I don't think you should call them bad.
Which coaching centre do you go to?

Resonance
@Pranjal Jain Can you please post Chemistry questions?
Well, I can post physical chemistry problems but then for organic and inorganic chemistry, problems will be disputed too much. I'll try to post physical chemistry problems! ⌣¨
Log in to reply
Ok..No problem
I don't think there is much scope to debate on problems on inorganic chemistry although I have to agree that questions on organic chemistry may cause a debate. But I would still encourage you to put up questions on these topics because that would at least provide a platform to discuss chemistry related topics on brilliant.

⌊7109⌋=15 sets can be posted at max. (Can't post more than one/week as time don't allow me) 15×8=120 problems will be posted. Now dividing them among chapters, I don't think I'll get more than 2/chapter.
Thanks for suggestion! I'll try. But as you can seeLog in to reply

Hi @Pranjal Jain , here I have posted a Physical Chemistry Question . I'd like it if you included it in your set.
It's just a suggestion !!

⌣¨
I'll surely try to include it in relevant topic!Log in to reply
Second set launched!!
nice set of questions... but i guess you should increase its difficulty as it would be more challenging and interesting...
Sure! I'll keep it in mind next time. I think its difficulty level will increase gradually. 😏
Any feedback on new set?

@Pranjal Jain
Haha , 100 day streak ! Congrats :)
Anyone uses Physics Galaxy by Ashish Arora as a reference book for physics??
Yes, I do! But only for Mechanics.
What references do you use for other topics of physics, please tell me.
Would you tell me good reference books for other subjects as well? (only if I am not disturbing you much; I know you are busy with your JEE prep) .I have just completed my class 11th course in my coaching.
For Organic Chemistry, "MS Chauhan"
For Physical Chemistry, I use book written by my teacher, SM Sir (Disha Publications).
Your sets will now be useful for future aspirants like me! ( Though I don't want to be an Engineer, but a mathematical physicist).
Good Work Bro.. and good questions too.. keep it up,,
Log in to reply
Thanks! I think it would be better if I include problems by other members also. @Sandeep Bhardwaj has some nice sets for JEE. And he won't mind me stealing one or two questions! Though I think new problems would be better. Whats say?
Yeah thats a good idea... also check out problems for mechanics and electricity magnetism

Nice work ! Hey Please Post Mechanics and E+M question also , Thanks !
Hey Also share Your Views on this Note If you don;t mind :: JEE Coming
Log in to reply
I'll surely share my views! I think Mechanics and EM may appear in next set! ⌣¨
This is a great initiative that you have got going , thumbs up !!!

Thanks Azhaghu!
@Pranjal Jain
Great! Thumbs Up to your idea!! This is definitely an inspiration motivation to all IIT aspirants out there.
All the Best for your examinations.

Can you post some problems for combinatorics...????? Plz!!!
This set contains two nice probability questions. You may also see some combinatorics questions on my profile. Sorry but I don't think combinatorics will be in set 2. It might be back later.
OK thanks....best luck for jee.!!
Here are some problems on probability for JEE-Advanced. All are nice ones and relevant for JEE. Thanks to @megh choksi
Log in to reply
Y dont you try these, Combinatorics and Probability set by @Andrei Golovanov it consists of the most interesting and challenging question till date and second my set Combinatorics Challanger.
So I have added solutions to problems without a nice solution or if I had alternate solution. Gonna post next set tomorrow morning. (IST) Cheers! ⌣¨
Given the fact that some problems in these sets are really easy, I am thinking of posting two sets per week, one for Mains and other for Advanced.
As @Harshvardhan Mehta pointed out, questions must be challenging. But at the same time, JEE Mains should also be taken cared of. So I hope this is a better idea.
Any comments/suggestions?

Nice idea!
Electrostatics is one topic that has been left out , can you post some questions on it ?
Very soon! Maybe in next one! ⌣¨
thanks for taking my review into consideration..
I was actually a bit busy with my board practicals, so couldn't get nice questions. I realised this very soon. Working up on next set(s)
New sets launched!! I hope you guys will enjoy them. Keep posting solutions and resharing problems. ⌣¨
(3 chapters, 6 problems)/set this time as I focussed on quality more than quantity. Actually quantity has increased as 2 sets are there this time. Anyways, cheers!
I am confused with which chapters should I post in next set. Any idea/suggestion?
You can try Ionic Equilibrium, Qualitative Analysis, Coordination compounds, Electrochemistry
Log in to reply
So much Chemistry? -_- Ok I'll add Thermodynamics.

Thanks for considering my suggestions@Deepanshu Gupta , @Ronak Agarwal ,@Pranjal Jain from which books (apart from coaching modules) have you been practising Physics for JEE , NSEP, KVPY and other olympiads ???
If you want conceptual but limited questionsquestions, see MCQ by Deb Mukherjee. Flipkart link, if you want questions ranging from formula substitution to some better ones, see Concepts of Physics by HC Verma. Flipkart Link for Part 1, Flipkart Link for Part 2 and finally, if you want problems on blending physics with calculus, there is a book by IE Irodov Flipkart Link

Thank you very much.
Can somebody solve this Problem
Hello everyone! I think I won't be able to post complete sets now, unfortunately! It'd be better if I post questions one by one whenever I find something interesting. Thanks for support! ⌣¨

Loved your questions ! Thanks for posting them :)
All the best for your boards as well as your jee.
And, is electronic and communication not available in IITs? I checked a few sites but didnt find the category.
Can you name a few engg colleges in india apart from iits which are of equally high standards?
Thanx in advance

Thanks @Ritu Roy They are available. IIT-Kharagpur, IIT-Roorkee
BITS, Pilani is the only comparable college in India.
