This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

About one and a half months are left for JEE-Advanced. The time you've got to prepare will affect your selection/rank in JEE_Advance completely. So If you want to take admission in IIT this year, it's must for you to prepare for it and give your best that you can. Here are some points that I would like to add.
∙ The time left is just one and a half months. So you can't solve a lot of question during this time period. Because you don't have to prepare only Mathematics or any other one subject. As you all know that You've to carry 3 subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. And Every subject is a challenging one, when we talk about JEE-Advanced Level.
∙ So what you've to do for cracking JEE-Advanced in the time left is to workout on the below points :
1.Complete Theoretical Revision of every subject. : It will not consume a lot of your time to give a quick revision to theory part. And it will boost up your confidence up to a great extent. You'll feel that I know everything whatever is going to appear in JEE-Advanced and I'm fully ready to crack it.
2.Solve Problems : I've mentioned it earlier that you can't solve a lot of problems. So the thing that matters is that you've to focus on the quality of the problems you're solving, not on quantity. JEE-Mains and JEE-Advanced are different level exams and both of these require a different mindset with kind of different preparation. JEE-Mains demands that you've basic knowledge of all the topics of 11th and 12th class. But JEE-Advanced demands the in-depth knowledge of the topics you study in the syllabus given.
So Solving Quality/Level Problems is must to get to the IITs.
For Mathematics, I've some recommendation of books :
A. Previous Year IIT Questions :
I think everyone of you has solved these stuffs already. If you've not done it yet, then you must do it and don't forget to solve its subjective questions, these are of immense essence in the preparation for JEE-Advanced.
B. Crash Course in Mathematics : JEE(Advanced) , Author : G.Tewani , Publisher : Cengage Learning :
This book is a very concise book with a great quality of questions. This is one of my favorite books I've ever seen for JEE-Advanced. Please don't forget to solve this book completely.
C. Problem Plus in IIT Mathematis, Author : A Das Gupta, Publisher : Bharti Bhawan :
All of you have heard about this book. This is a great book for IIT Mathematics. But in this book, no. of questions is very large, which is currently not possible to do and also that will not be helpful. So I recommend to solve only Solved Examples from this book and also have a look at the solution given in the book, but at first attempt try it at your own without going for the solution given there.
This is will enough from Mathematics point of view to get a respectable rank in JEE-Advanced.
3. Test : You must give tests for a great performance in JEE-Advanced. But it's not recommended by me to give so many tests at this time. Because one complete test of JEE-Advanced is going to consume your 6 hours. So I think that giving 2 tests per week is a very balanced preparatory task.
Your self-analysis of test is very significant. You should try again those question which you couldn't solve in the test and also figure out the reason behind that. : Calculation mistake/silly mistake/ conceptual mistake and whatever you feel. then improve those mistakes so that you don't commit those in the JEE-Advanced exam. If there is conceptual mistake, then go for studying that concept again thoroughly and discuss with your respective teachers.
So finally, I would say focus on all the three subjects. Don't leave even a single subject as your weak points. And you'll be doing great in JEE-Advanced.
All the best !

Thanks a lot Sir ..! You always help all of us students !
Special request : @Sandeep Bhardwaj Sir , @Sanjeet Raria Sir , @Rajen Kapur Sir , @Sudeep Salgia @Karthik Kannan @jatin yadav and @Everyone ,
Those who will appear on 24th may , also Please Suggest what to do and what will you do !
Thanks!
As far as I am concerned , I believe first revising the concepts of all the chapters in a quick but thorough way would help to get an overview of the syllabus.. Then practicing problems of varying difficulties without referring to the theory during solving will help to find out our weaknesses... And during the last 15 to 20 days Giving Mock Papers would boost our confidence...
I want to know from you all how you keep yourself calm before and during the exam time..Please help @Karan Shekhawat, @Ronak Agarwal , @Sudeep Salgia , @Mvs Saketh ..and all others who can help..
