This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science
related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should
explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments
should further the discussion of math and science.
When posting on Brilliant:
Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

Just try , identify and learn from , to rectify your mistakes......moreover read Sandeep Sir's motivational notes in his sets. They are truly enriching and motivating...⌣¨

All the best....and one thing i learned during my JEE prep is that U need to believe in yourself...have control over your mind and thoughts....and accept the truth that you are meant for something much bigger than these competitions....your real target is JEE 2019...! GET UP AND GET GOING , YOU ARE A STAR (from sandeep sir) ⌣¨
@Md Zuhair , have you checked the answer keys bro? Please tell us your score and others(KVPY participants at Brilliant) also please comment. @SUKRIT AGGARWAL

PLEASE dont put blade bro, it was just one exam....also there were many people whose got more marks due to retest(the retest itself was stupid-50% q from the paper we wrote and the rest from previous years- any hardcore mugger would have surely scored centum in it). Also in the intial comment u typed u had done a typo due to which i misunderstood it.
@Aakhyat Singh

THIS YEAR's KVPY was the most flawed one-conducting retest at centres just because some computers crashed there and that too making it free for all the candidates of that centre-including those whose computers ran well is the dumbest thing any1 cud evr do..
@Md Zuhair
–
But in Chennai, although only 40-45 computers crashed(that too all on one floor) in a center where more than 200 students were writing the exam, all of them were eligible to write the retest( in fact many of them did not go thinking that the retest paper would be too tough, but they got a big bulb). Luckily, I wasn't in that center..
@Aakhyat Singh
–
Yeah.. really bad.. This time.. KVPY is flawed... and is kindof fake. LAY JAIN , AIR 1 KVPY SA 2016 didnt had his name in the list. SO Allen filed a case against IISc. Lets see

In my centre, there were 2 committees. Out of them, the 2nd one was grilling the students a lot by asking very tough questions.
And the prediction did emerge true-it happened only for students who scored borderline marks in STAGE 1(46-60 marks) or wrote the retest, got very high marks(thanks to their mugging abilities). Whereas the students who scored really high marks were asked very dumb questions.
